RJC Applauds Leader McCarthy, GOP Steering Cmte.

Tonight RJC National Chairman Sen. Norm Coleman released the following statement:

We strongly applaud GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy and the House Republican Steering Committee for the decisive and moral leadership they showed tonight by stripping Rep. Steve King of his committee roles.The foundation of the Republican Party, the Party of Lincoln, is equality and justice for all Americans. Rep. King's comments and actions have not met the high standard of our party. We thank Leader McCarthy and the Republican Steering Committee for demonstrating the party's values in action by choosing not to seat Rep. King on committees.
