Obama Can't Ignore Human Rights Abuses in Iran

Last week, President Obama hailed the Persian New Year (“Nowruz”) as an opportunity to solicit Iranian support for his nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic. In a video message subtitled in Farsi, Obama urged the people of Iran to “speak up for the future we seek.”

This mention of free speech to an Iranian audience—a population that enjoys none—underlines the stunning degree of delusion underpinning this administration’s attempt to negotiate with Iran.

The RJC has also launched an online campaign to complement the two New York Times ads. A website, www.standuptoiran.com, has been created to collect signatures online from those who support the Prime Minister.

Washington, DC - A new Gallup poll asked Americans who they sympathize with more, Israelis or Palestinians.

The results of this poll continue to show a growing 'Israel gap' between Republicans and Democrats. The poll shows that GOP support for Israel has reached 83 percent.  Democrats only support Israel 48 percent of the time, a ten percentage point drop in one year.
