Washington, DC - The Republican Jewish Coalition released the following statement slamming Senate Democrats and Rand Paul for maneuvering to kill the Antisemitism Awareness Act, the Jewish community’s top priority for the 119th Congress.

Dear Friends -- As this year’s RJC Leadership Mission comes to a close, I want to share some final thoughts after reflecting on this intense, powerful trip.

Shalom Friends -- Yesterday, on our last full day in Israel, we visited kibbutz Kfar Aza, Nahal Oz military base, and the site of the Nova Music Festival, which were all brutally attacked on October 7th. It was an incredibly intense day.

Shalom Friends -- Yesterday, the RJC delegation traveled to the north of Israel. The close proximity of former Hezbollah outposts to Israeli communities on the borders with Lebanon and Syria is truly astounding.

Dear Friends, After an incredibly meaningful Shabbat in the Old City, the RJC delegation participated in critical meetings with the highest levels of the Israeli government: the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance, and Strategic Affairs, the Speaker of the Knesset, and Israel's Ambassador to the United States.

Friends, I am writing to you from Jerusalem, the eternal, undivided capital of the Jewish people, where our RJC delegation arrived yesterday morning, departing from Poland’s death camps to the vibrancy of Israel–quite literally from ashes to life.

Today, on Yom HaShoah, I had the honor of marching alongside our RJC delegation and over 8,000 participants from 40 different countries from Auschwitz to Birkenau, as part of the March of the Living.

The RJC delegation arrived today in Kraków, and I wanted to send a quick update as we kick off what’s going to be an incredibly powerful trip.

As Jews around the world begin the holiday of Passover, and reflect on the accomplishments of President Donald J. Trump and his administration, I am reminded of my favorite part of the Seder–a song we sing about being grateful to God for all of the gifts he has given us. If God had only delivered one blessing, we chant “Dayenu”–“It would have been enough”.
