RJC Announces Major Ad Campaign in Support of Rep. Tony Gonzales in TX-23
Washington, DC – Republican Jewish Coalition National Chairman Senator Norm Coleman and CEO Matt Brooks released the following statement announcing a $400,000 ad buy in the GOP primary in Texas’ 23rd congressional district:
The RJC is proud to stand with Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23), a 20-year Navy veteran, a family man and father of six.
As a member of the powerful Appropriations committee, Rep. Gonzales has gone to bat for critical joint U.S.-Israel missile defense programs, and is a stalwart defender of the U.S.-Israel relationship. Gonzales also leads the Latino Jewish Caucus and the bipartisan caucus for veterans serving in the House of Representatives.
We need to keep Tony Gonzales working for the causes we care about in Congress.
His opponent, Brandon Herrera, is a goose-stepping extremist who pals around with online Nazis, and has promised to join the “chaos caucus” that has frustrated the efforts of the GOP majority in the House to pass essential legislation.
As we’ve said all cycle: if you stand against the Jewish community, if you stand against America’s strategic ally Israel, the RJC will work to defeat you.
RJC urges the voters of TX-23 to support Congressman Tony Gonzales in the May 28 runoff election.
