Biden’s “Third Obama Term” in the Mideast
Josh Hammer has an excellent piece at Tablet magazine, in which he writes that on Mideast policy, the “third Obama term continues apace,” against American interests:
Sadly, it is increasingly obvious that President [Joe] Biden intends to ignore the loosening of the ground effected by [Donald] Trump and instead return to President [Barack] Obama’s failed playbook: a toxic combination of relentless pressure on Israel to yield concessionary “land for peace,” a dogmatic pursuit of Israeli-Palestinian peace above all else, and a ruinous appeasement of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its regional proxies, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen.
… [Let us take] a historical look back at the Israeli-Palestinian “peace process” that never was—nor perhaps will ever be, absent a forthright, unapologetic advancement of regional policy in accordance with the Trump administration’s fundamental paradigm shift.
Adam Kredo at the Washington Free Beacon reminds us that the Palestinians are still not a partner for peace, since they continue to use international aid money to reward terrorists. Despite this, the Biden administration intends to restart funding to the Palestinian Authority.

The reason is simple: not only prayer services, but family lifecycle events of all kinds — from circumcisions to bar mitzvahs to weddings to funerals — are commonly divided by biological sex in traditional Orthodox Judaism.
