A Message from RJC National Chairman Norm Coleman:

Goodbye 2021, Hello 2022

As 2021 draws to a close, I’d like to reflect on some of the Republican Jewish Coalition’s key moments from the past year and look ahead to what we have in store for 2022.

This year, with Democrats in control the White House and both houses of Congress, we focused on fighting for the top legislative priorities for the Jewish community and against the dangerous policies of the progressive Left. Our staff and tens of thousands of RJC members across the country were vocal and active in opposing:

  • the Biden administration’s plan to return to the dangerously flawed JCPOA, the Obama-Biden nuclear deal with Iran;
  • the Biden administration’s plan to return the US to the UN Human Rights Council;
  • the Biden administration’s plan to reopen the US consulate in Jerusalem to the Palestinians;
  • and the disastrous “Build Back Better” reconciliation bill.

The RJC helped rally cosponsors for Republican legislation in the House and Senate regarding Iran, terrorism, the US embassy in Jerusalem, and other issues.

We also celebrated the first anniversary of the Abraham Accords and the expanding diplomatic, economic, and security cooperation in the region initiated by those historic agreements.

The RJC will continue our important work on Capitol Hill in 2022, but our main focus will be on regaining our congressional majorities. To that end, we have been refining our data modeling to enhance our advocacy and outreach efforts to persuadable Jewish voters in battleground states. We will once again utilize the RJC PAC and our conduit portal to raise meaningful, significant financial support for our great Republican Senate and House incumbents and challengers. Together, we can fire Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi on November 8, 2022!

Watch your emails for exciting updates on how you can help RJC PAC-endorsed candidates win their 2022 races.

Finally, I want to thank you for everything you do for the RJC. I extend my heartfelt wishes for good health, success, and happiness in the new year to you and your family. I believe that 2022 has the makings of a truly historic year for RJC. See you there!

Republicans MUST win majorities in the House and Senate in 2022, and they need our help now!

Please show your support by donating to the RJC PAC and/or our endorsed candidates today!

Short Takes

Yes, It Was An "Evil Empire"

Reason magazine’s December issue marks the 30th anniversary of the collapse of the Soviet Union. Cathy Young, who grew up in the USSR, reminds us that despite the continuing infatuation with and nostalgia for Soviet-style communism among leftists even today, the USSR really was an “evil empire”.

Passing of M. Ronald Krongold

This week, the RJC learned of the sad loss of RJC Board of Directors member M. Ronald Krongold of Florida. He was an active and dedicated RJC leader for over 20 years and a valued member of the Board of Directors for the last six years. He was respected and well-liked by all of us, and we will miss his warmth and his counsel. May his wife and family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
