RJC Summit Dazzles

The RJC's Annual Leadership Summit in Las Vegas this week was a tremendous success and featured a dazzling group of top-flight speakers. Our special guests included Vice President JD Vance, GOP leaders in the House and Senate, candidates in some of the hottest races in the midterm elections, and important pro-Israel influencers, activists, and special friends.

In addition, during the banquet on Monday night, we held a meaningful memorial and tribute to the late Senator Lindsey Graham, which featured a video remembering this unmatched friend of Israel and the American Jewish community, as well as remarks from RJC Chairman Senator Norm Coleman, Ron Dermer, Sander Gerber, Morgan Ortagus, and Stuart Force. At the conclusion of the tribute, Chairman Norm Coleman announced that the RJC is awarding President Donald J. Trump the Lindsey Graham Statesman Award. The award recognizes visionary leadership, trailblazing courage, and an unbreakable will to fight for the American people.

President Trump appeared via video to praise the RJC and thank us for the award, which will be presented to him in person at the White House at a later date.

RJC Proudly Endorses Scott Singer for Congress in FL-25

The Republican Jewish Coalition has endorsed Scott Singer, the Republican nominee in Florida's 25th Congressional District. RJC National Chairman Senator Norm Coleman released the following statement:

In Florida's 25th Congressional District, we have our only chance this cycle to increase the number of Jewish Republicans serving in Congress. Scott Singer is a dedicated champion for the Jewish community and of Republican principles. We are proud to count him as an RJC leader for more than a decade.

As the successful three-term mayor of Boca Raton, Scott enacted fiscally conservative policies, stood for law enforcement, and used common sense to help the local economy boom. He cut the property tax rate seven straight times, giving Boca Raton the lowest rate of any full-service city in Florida; crime fell another 25% from already historic lows; and he cut permitting times by 60% while attracting new corporate headquarters and high-paying jobs. That record of accomplishment is why President Donald Trump endorsed Scott this week.

While both the Democrat and Republican candidates for this seat are strong supporters of the U.S.-Israel relationship, only electing Republican Scott Singer will ensure that a Republican House Majority will continue its fight against antisemitism and maintain a pro-Israel majority in Congress.

Scott has a competitive battle on his hands and will need all our help to win. We are asking every RJC member to get behind him today.

JNS: 'Jewish values' are not a suicide pact that empowers antisemites

We can only pity the plight of Jewish Democrats these days. Their situation is one in which they find themselves betrayed by allies and forced to choose between standing up against open antisemitism and prioritizing the partisan loyalties and beliefs that are essential to their worldview.

Even as we sympathize with them, we should not heed the advice that they are getting from many of their leaders. And if any of them have a scrap of common sense or self-respect, not to mention a sense of obligation to other Jews or even to their own children, they should not merely reject the counsel they've just received from Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. Instead, they should regard with horror her belief that Jews should respond to the difficult choice faced by liberals by sacrificing their "own survival," rather than rejecting a Democratic Party that's been hijacked by antisemites.
