Domestic Policy

Education and the economy rank high on the list of domestic policies that most concern the American Jewish community. The RJC supports school choice for families and the low-tax, pro-growth economic policies that have made America the most powerful, richest, and freest nation in the history of the world. 

  • Support HR 1048/S. 1296, the DETERRENT Act, to hold colleges accountable for massive secret foreign donations.  
  • Oppose the “Green New Deal,” “Medicare for all” and any other legislation that advances a big government/higher taxes agenda
  • Support school choice
  • Support Jewish Veterans and Fallen Servicemembers 
    • S. 1318/HR2701 Fallen Servicemembers Religious Heritage Restoration Act, to identify deceased members of the Armed Forces who were Jewish and buried in a U.S. military cemetery located outside of the United States under Latin Crosses, and replace those with Jewish grave markers 
  • Support Holocaust Victims and their Heirs Seeking Justice from Nazi Looting 
    • S.1884/HR 4235 Holocaust Expropriated Art Recovery Act of 2025, to expand and improve access to US courts for American Holocaust survivors and their heirs whose artwork was stolen by the Nazis during the Second World War
