Gabriel Groisman

Gabriel Groisman is the former Mayor of Bal Harbour, Florida, a Jewish community leader, a public speaker and writer, and is also a practicing attorney and government affairs consultant.

Gabriel Groisman is a much needed, strong, and proud voice supporting the Jewish community, with a focus on fighting against antisemitism, strengthening the community, and building bridges between Israel and the US. Groisman served as Mayor of Bal Harbour, Florida for six years through November 2022. He wrote and passed the nation’s first municipal anti-BDS ordinance in December 2015, as a city councilman, and was the first in the nation to codify a uniform definition of anti-Semitism in December 2017. Groisman’s subsequent dealings with a local church who had previously boycotted and divested from Israel is the first documented success story of anti-BDS legislation. 
 
Groisman has presented on two occasions at the United Nations in New York as a legal scholar on combating unjust and illegal commercial and academic boycotts of Israel, and has also presented at conferences held at the Italian Parliament in Rome, the Israeli Knesset and for groups across the country and abroad. Groisman is also a regular commentator on Spanish language TV and radio on various issues pertaining to Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish community. Groisman is a public speaker who speaks to groups around the world on issues related to the Jewish community, antisemitism and the Middle East.
 
Groisman is also a practicing attorney and government affairs consultant. He is a partner at LSN Partners where he focuses on government relations in correlation with the firm's state and national practice. At LSN Gabriel established an Israeli Tech practice, working with Israeli tech companies in various sectors, helping them navigate the world of government procurement and regulatory affairs in the United States. He also often advises on legal cases around the world related to protecting the Jewish community from discriminatory conduct by governments and private individuals alike. 
 
In 2017, Groisman was named as a member of Advisory Council for Israel and Middle East Issues by then-Congressman Ron DeSantis, Chairman of National Security Subcommittee.  In 2018, Mayor Groisman was awarded the Pursuit of Justice Award by the prestigious American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists. In 2022, Mayor Groisman was awarded the Pillar of Community by the Zionist Organization of America.

Groisman is the National Chairman of the Board of the Children's Tumor Foundation, and serves as a Board Member with the Republican Jewish Coalition and the Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces.
 
At the end, he is most proud of being the father to 5 daughters and a husband to his wife Lisa for almost 20 years.
