Jewish Support for Obama Drops

Washington, DC -  A new Gallup poll shows that American Jews support for President Obama is trending in the wrong direction. Gallup notes that "[there is an] average 13-point gap" between how Jewish Americans and Americans overall view the President. Today that gap has narrowed to eight percent.

RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks said:

"Barack Obama has taken American Jews for granted. He has ignored our community's concerns about a deal with Iran and publicly tried to embarrass Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. President Obama will continue to bleed away Jewish support as long as he treats our friends -- like Israel -- as enemies, and our enemies -- like Iran -- as friends."
