Michael Bogachek

Michael Bogachek is a visionary executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience leading innovation in healthcare, technology, and governance. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Organization of American States (OAS). In this capacity, Dr. Bogachek oversees the governance and integrity of institutional operations, to include General Services, Procurement and Management Oversight, Financial Services, Human Resources, and Information and Technology Services, as well as oversight of the newly created Chief Risk Office.
Previously, Dr. Bogachek was the Chief Operating Officer of VativoRx, where he directed operational strategy and growth. Under his leadership, VativoRx expanded into a national rebate management and pharmacy benefit administration leader that touched the lives of more than 1.4 million people across the United States. His focus on compliance, financial sustainability, and innovation made VativoRx a trusted partner for health plans, hospitals, and government entities.
He also founded Cooperton, a cybersecurity and crisis management firm that protects over 60% of Puerto Rico’s hospitals and key government infrastructure. Earlier in his career, he founded PharmaLife, a pharmacy company that pioneered Georgia’s first statewide electronic health record system for the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in Bio-Engineering and Philosophy from Moscow University for the Humanities, and is completing the Harvard Business School – OPM64 Program (Expected April 2026). He is an active member of YPO and has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers.
