Women’s Firearm Safety & Training Course
Two-Part NRA-Certified Training | Sundays, August 17 & 24
Led by NRA Instructor Yael Lagana

 

Join us for an in-depth, two-day training designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to safely handle and operate firearms. This course is split over two consecutive Sundays:
  • Day 1 (August 17): Classroom-based instruction, covering firearm fundamentals and safety protocols.
  • Day 2 (August 24): A live-fire session at the shooting range with hands-on coaching from our NRA-certified instructor.
Course topics include:
  • Essential gun safety rules and practices
  • Proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols
  • Ammunition knowledge and selection
  • Choosing the right pistol for your needs
  • Safe handling, storage, and transportation of firearms
  • Shooting fundamentals, including stance, grip, and trigger control
  • Marksmanship techniques to improve accuracy
  • Firearm inspection, cleaning, and maintenance
  • Shooting range etiquette and safety procedures

Requirements:
Participants must bring at least 200 rounds of appropriate ammunition for their pistol. If you do not own a firearm, one can be provided for an additional fee.
Cost: $160 – Includes all instruction and lunch on the classroom day.
