RJC Announces Endorsement of Rep. Tony Gonzales (TX-23)

Washington, DC – Today, the Republican Jewish Coalition announced its endorsement of Rep. Tony Gonzales (TX-23). This latest endorsement is in addition to the 21 House and Senate candidates that RJC has previously endorsed in the 2024 election cycle.

RJC National Chairman Senator Norm Coleman and CEO Matt Brooks said:

The RJC is excited to endorse Rep. Tony Gonzales - a strong, pro-Israel Republican who has served honorably both in the US military and in the US House of Representatives. He is a dedicated advocate for his constituents, for US national security, and for the strategic US-Israel alliance. We are proud to recommend him to our members and our community.

Tony Gonzales (TX-23) - Congressman Tony Gonzales was first elected to represent Texas's 23rd district in 2020 after a distinguished military career.

A career cryptologist in the Navy, Gonzales rose to the highest enlisted rank of Master Chief Petty Officer for work in support of combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan that required numerous deployments to the Middle East and Asia. Gonzales also served on Capitol Hill as a Department of Defense Legislative Fellow for US Senator Marco Rubio and was a National Security Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

As a Congressman, Tony Gonzales has been an indispensable ally to Jewish Americans and a key supporter of strengthening the US-Israel alliance. He is a co-chair of the Latino Jewish Caucus, and, as a member of the powerful House Appropriations Committee, he's played an important role in ensuring that critical funds are provided for Israeli missile defense and other areas of cooperation.
