RJC Applauds Taylor Force Martyr Payment Prevention Act

Washington, DC – The Republican Jewish Coalition applauds the introduction of the Taylor Force Martyr Payment Prevention Act, introduced by Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) and 12 co-sponsors today.

RJC National Chairman Norm Coleman said:

The 2018 Taylor Force Act was an important first step toward ending the Palestinian Authority‘s outrageous "pay-for-slay" system that incentivizes deadly terrorist attacks against Israelis and Americans. Senator Cotton's bill will make important progress toward this goal by targeting the financial institutions that facilitate these so-called "martyr payments."

RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks said:

Unfortunately, the Biden administration has been more interested in finding loopholes in the Taylor Force Act than it has been in vigorously enforcing it. We applaud Senator Cotton and his colleagues for demonstrating strong leadership where the administration is failing.
