RJC Celebrates Major GOP Primary Wins in WV and NE

Washington, DC – The Republican Jewish Coalition released the following statement in response to RJC-endorsed GOP candidates’ primary victories in West Virginia and Nebraska.

RJC National Chairman Senator Norm Coleman and CEO Matt Brooks said:

Tonight, Republican voters in West Virginia and Nebraska soundly rejected extremist candidates and supported RJC-endorsed Representatives Carol Miller and Don Bacon.

These results spell big trouble for the likes of Congressman Bob Good, who supported both of the losing candidates.

Reps. Miller and Bacon are both fierce advocates for their constituents and strong allies to the Jewish community and America’s key strategic partner, Israel. We are proud to stand with them.

Let there be no doubt: if you don’t stand with the Jewish community, if you don’t stand with Israel, the RJC will work to defeat you.

RJC congratulates Representatives Miller and Bacon on their hard-fought and decisive victories. We look forward to continuing to work with them in Congress.
