Bobby Schostak, after nearly 40 years in the family real estate business, spends his time today in three areas including MadDog Technology Venture Fund, a division of MadDog Technology, where he serves as its fund manager and CEO. MadDogTechnology is a developer and funder of cloud based solutions that are disruptive to the industries they serve.

After serving for seven years in the Michigan Republican Party, as Chairman and Finance Chairman, Schostak announced the formation of the Templar Baker Group (TBG) in June 2015. TBG provides strategic political and business consulting, helping to bridge the relationships between business and government for their clients. The company is based in Lansing, Michigan and run by his four colleagues.

He has served as the Co-Chief Executive Officer of his family’s business, Schostak Brothers & Company, a leading commercial real estate business based in Livonia, Michigan, where they operate commercial properties in 24 states. In addition, the Schostak family operates the largest privately held, franchised restaurant company in Michigan, Team Schostak Family Restaurants, with ownership of over 100 restaurants, including Del Taco, Olga’s Kitchen, Applebee’s, and MOD Pizza.

Schostak serves on the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital Congenital Heart Center National Advisory Board and was appointed by Michigan’s Former Governor Rick Snyder to the Oakland University Board of Trustees in December of 2015. He also serves on the Urban Land Institute (ULI) as the Michigan Board Chair and the Quantum Ventures of Michigan Advisory Board.

Schostak and his wife, Nancy, were married in 1977; together they have three married children and 8 grandchildren.
