With the pandemic preventing in-person events and racial justice protests sweeping the country, Jewish political groups are adapting their strategies for an unprecedented campaign season.
RJC Virtual Town Hall Was a Huge Success
Washington, DC -- The RJC's first national virtual Town Hall, on Sunday, July 19, 2020, was a huge success.
Over 5,000 people viewed the discussion, which featured Amb. Nikki Haley, radio host Mark Levin, RJC National Chairman Senator Norm Coleman, and RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks.
Focusing on the critical issues facing the Jewish community in 2020, the discussion covered: the US-Israel relationship; President Trump's foreign policy successes, such as withdrawing the US from the Iran nuclear treaty and standing up for Israel at the UN; domestic issues; and the outlook for the Jewish community in the 2020 election.

WASHINGTON (JTA) ...In years past I have sat among crowds rallied by Jewish campaign surrogates in packed synagogues in Ohio and bingo halls in Florida, and I’ve followed canvassers searching for mezuzahs in neighborhoods known for having large Jewish populations.
Severe limits on in-person campaigning imposed by the coronavirus pandemic means we’re not likely to be bringing you those stories this season. But a very different election year doesn’t mean the Jewish vote in swing states is less important.
